Peachtree Road just north of
Lenox Road has never been more walkable. Last week, crews finished the massive,
34-foot-wide sidewalk outside Dick’s Sporting Goods across from Phipp’s Plaza.
Also, the irrigation system on the north side of Peachtree is almost complete.
This will allow the planters to be cleaned and filled just in time for the
trees’ spring growing season. Median build-out will be done in a few weeks,
with all major activities set to be complete by midsummer.
